  We seek an experienced Technical Sales Engineer proficient in industrial automation, especially servo motion control and high-tech mechanical components.   Overall Purpose of the Job Identify new business opportunities, provide pre-sales technical support, and ensure client needs are met. Geographical focus primarily on South and South West England and Wales with regular collaboration with the UK sales team.

  Key Activities and Accountabilities

  • Master product specifications and industry trends.

  • Provide technical support and maintain client relationships.

  • Prepare and deliver quotations, conduct sales presentations, and assist in pricing guidance.

  • Support tender and contract negotiations.

  • Identify revenue opportunities and participate in industry events.

  Job Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Minimum HNC/NVQ Level 4 in Electrical/Mechanical/Engineering.

  • Substantial experience in a technical or sales role.

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and databases.

  Experience and Skills

  • Engineering background with industrial automation or servo motor/gearbox experience.

  • 3 years in a similar role.

  • Detailed knowledge of mechanical industrial automation products.

  • Strong networking, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
